Part of my responsibility as Marketing Coordinator for a small medical device manufacturer and distributer was to redesign the national and international company catalog.
I was responsible for leading photoshoots for new product photography and completed post-production editing for the catalog in photoshop.

I also included some freelance work to showcase my flexible aesthetic. I approach each project with an open mind and my clients’ needs come first.
Below are two magazine spreads I did for American Cheerleader magazine.
I also create wedding stationary. Below you will find a “Save the Date” postcard.
During my time as a high school art teacher, I designed these posters for my classroom so that the National Visual Arts Standards would be clearly on display for my students.
• The Clumpies design is crisp and clean, allowing the ice cream to speak for itself. The single-page site includes an eye-catching video that details the process and ingredients used to create some of Clumpies' signature flavors. Each ice cream is highlighted with a short description and a photograph designed to show off its flavor and texture. As users scroll down the page, they also find pricing information and details about Clumpies' partners and wholesale locations. Click here to view live site.
• The new NorthShore Chattanooga site needed to be informative enough to attract visitors to local businesses but simple enough for the collective to maintain. Primary elements, including the navigation and images are hard-coded, but the merchant directly is connected to simple content management system that allows collective members to easily add, update, or delete business listings.
Large images showcase the eclectic collection of businesses and attractions found in the area, and the merchant directly includes a filter that allows visitors to search for businesses by category. There's also an embedded map with color-coded pushpins so it's easy for visitors to find their favorite business on the go. Click here to view live site.
• The Laura's Garden website is a single-page site featuring blocks of text highlighted by photos from the client's Instagram account and a script-like font. A simple menu navigates the visitor to information further down the page. Click here to view live site.
This work is purely for fun. More to come.
The concept:
Embrace is an eco-friendly fragrance founded on a set of values that are reflected in the creation of our products. We believe in the importance of education and evolution of ideas, as well as embracing a life of authenticity and creativity. We hope to remind our users to consider the abundant amount of natural resources all around us, before jumping to the use of man-made, artificial products. The daily use of our fragrance is meant to promote awareness of our responsibility to take care of and utilize these natural resources, as well as encourage one to embrace the natural beauty that surrounds us. If we can learn to live harmoniously with nature, we can ensure a prosperous future for humanity.
Background:
My process for this project started with a reflection on what was important to me. At the time, I had recently become very interested in living an environmentally friendly lifestyle, so I began to do a lot of research on how design thinking can help decrease the amount of waste we produce. The name of my company, "Embrace" came to me immediately and it paired really well with other concepts I was thinking about, which developed into a slogan, which ultimately summarized my company's call to action: "Educate, Evolve, Embrace." I produced the logo very quickly. It is meant to be very engaging and "light" in feeling, and also emulate a sort of texture. With more time and resources I would have more fully developed my logo mark by finding new ways to apply it. Monoprint it, emboss it, etc. I see the concept of this project as the foundation of something that I will continue to refine. I would love to eventually see this product come to life.
What makes it eco-friendly?
• Minimal use of material in packaging
* Reusable bottles
* Bottles are corked, so application of fragrance is by dabbing it onto your skin instead of spraying it into the air
* Fragrance is cultivated from organic plants
3 Applications:
1. Vanilla & Anise
2. Rosemary & Mint
3. Sweet Pea
Each package contains plantable seed paper, which I letter-pressed non-toxic ink to read "Plant the Seed." The seeds in each package are the same seeds from the plant of that particular package's scent. Each package is educational, provides information on the history & origin, etymology, medicinal uses, and method of cultivation. So the goal is for the customer to plant the seed paper, feel more connected to the product, and have a light carbon footprint. "Educate, Evolve, Embrace."
"Embrace" is the result of a semester long study of branding in my junior year of college. The assignment was to come up with an original idea for a company, develop the company concept and then brand it. This included a logo design, stationary set design, and 3 accompanying applications.
'Snaptrace' is a social media concept that combats individual cyber-harassment. The user creates a profile that empowers him or her to become an activist and promote online safety.
This online community forms an alliance against harassers in this digital age.
It is my passion as a graphic designer to make products that solve social issues and design a better future.
I made a book to document my research and process. View the book here.
